The Sydney Rail Project is a major infrastructure project that will see the construction of new rail lines, tunnels and stations.

Sydenham Station project is one of the many stations on the line being upgraded by engineering company John Holland and as a part of the significant transformation, Welding Services & Engineering was contracted by John Holland to manufacture custom Fire hydrants Cabinetry to be installed throughout Sydney.

Fire Hydrant Cabinets were designed and fabricated in house by Welding Services & Engineering for the Sydney Rail Project.

With their sleek outer shells fitted all around. These custom-built pieces of hardware have been installed at over 30 locations across Sydney as part of the ongoing efforts on this massive project!

Apart from the hydrant cabinetry, Sydney rail was supplied with 2000 Structural adapter clamps for their underground rail network. The structural adapters were welded together in-house on a robotic welder to provide a consistent and robust build. The adapters were first Prototyped before being mass-produced to make sure they were a viable solution.
