High Definition (HD) CNC Plasma Cutting
High Definition CNC plasma cutting systems use computers on machines to create the shapes to be cut and control the cutting machine movement and gases. The resulting shapes are smoother and more complex, and accurate than would be possible with a hand plasma torch and can include intricate curves, inside cuts, and sharp corners.
HD CNC plasma cutting also provides near laser quality cutting at a fraction of the time and effort usually required by traditional oxy cutting. HD CNC plasma cutting is perfect for high speed, accuracy and large capacity cutting of material.

How does plasma cutters work
Plasma cutting which is a plasma arc process has always been seen as an alternative to the oxy-fuel process. Plasma cutters heat gas to insanely hot temperatures which creates plasma. The massive amount of energy begins to break down the gas molecules, the atoms split therefore large amounts of energy is released, providing a plasma cutter with an incredible amount of energy to cut material such as steel. As electricity from the cutting torch travels down the plasma, it creates sufficient heat to melt through the metal. The high velocity plasma and compressed gas blow the hot melted metal away to cut straight through.
